Kantha, an ancestral know-how from South-East Asia
Kantha is an ancient art of embroidery and quilting widely used in Southeast Asia, particularly India and Pakistan. This technique involves stitching old fabrics, often saris, back to back using colorful threads, creating stunning quilts and throws.
We have highlighted this precious ancestral know-how by creating reversible scarves, where contrasting colors are skillfully assembled back to back using the Kantha technique.
This small series, both elegant and ethical, is produced in a limited edition and helps to preserve the unique know-how of Pakistani embroiderers while promoting their autonomy.
- Dimensions: 190 x 15 cm
